Hi,
I am graduating on May 26. I should be getting my OPT validated from USCIS (INS Notice Date: March 5) by June 4 at most according to their 90 day rule. Am I allowed to intern at a company while on OPT? I plan on continuing into Masters in September, at which point my OPT would be automatically canceled I am told.

It depends of you see an Internship as just another name for a job! If its for academic credit, then in theory it would cancel the card when you register for it. if its purely for work experience/money, and doesnt require registration via the school, (i.e. its 'just' a job!), then thats the whole point of OPT

Yes, I don't see a problem with you interning while on OPT since intern
is just your job title. I see no difference with this and "regular
employment" on OPT. You are right that your OPT will be cancelled as
soon as you go back to school.
