Interesting point...
I've been told by the INS helpline that the total time to approve the visa
and have it issued is about 4-5 months.
But I've heard on this site about people being apart for about a year or
more.
What is the usual time that you people have experienced from visa
application to visa approval and issue?
I'm from the UK so it would be going through London and Oklahoma state
offices.
Thanks - we all worry to much don't we?

Tony,
The INS, now the BCIS, does not issue visas. The Department of State issues visas. Why would one look to the INS as the authority on time to issue a visa?
Worry less, think more.

Re: Interesting point...
Aren't those semantics? The department of state can't issue the (K1) visa
before the BCIS has given their petition approval.
