INS Put All LC Processing On Hold!?
Hi All
It seems that INS has put all LC processing on hold. There is absolutely no progress
in time since 4-5 months.

LC processing isn't done by INS, it is done by the DOL.

Valid point, but I would also know if anybody has information regarding the original
question: is LC processing put on hold, or not? As I said in my previous message, I
noticed that the Connecticut DOL hasn't moved it's processing date for RIR
applications (June 16, 2001) for at least 3 months now. What is going on and what can
be done about it?
Thank you,
-s.

You are very smart! Anyway, it seems that DOL has put all LC processing on hold.
There is absolutely no change in progressing times since beginning 2002.

The first thing you have to learn when dealing with immigration issues is patience.
There have been lots of times in the past where things (at DOL and INS) didn't move
at all for several months. Nobody knows the reasons for that for sure, although in
some cases it is known that the personnel got diverted into other areas.
