These sorts of things depend on more information than you gave.

Wow, that is a whole lot of missing info. :D
You will only be allowed to work if you have either a visa which allows
you to work. Regular tourist visas and visa waiver don't allow you to
work.
Assuming you get married, you will have to go through the same syste
everyone does, and can not work untill you get a Employment
Authorization Document. Untill then, you are NOT supposed to work, and
violating this rule might give you a lot of trouble further down the
road.
Expect not to be able to work for a good couple of months.

Taking a hint from your screen name -- you might want to look at what is called "DOMA" or the "Defense Of Marriage Act" which takes clear aim to attack certain marriages.

Oh my and all you had to do was look at his signature line ... it couldn't be clearer what he chose as a career choice in life.

Ooh, you beat me to it!
Dana, Leslie, Blake, Courtney, Ashley, Meredith, Car(e)y, Stac(e)y, Bailey, Harley, Kendall, Cameron, Hunter, Taylor, Casey, Jamie, Morgan, Hil(l)ary, etc......
Some common "unisex" names, to name but a few (no pun intended).
Dana Carvey may have dressed up to be the "Church Lady" but even then his name doesn't make him a woman!

Shirley Temple converted "Shirley" into a "unisex" name. You left out "Carroll" [Carroll O'Conner]. Other than Marion Hargrove, I've never heard of Marion used by a guy. As to the OP, I've never heard of Andrea used by a guy and always thought of it as a version of "Andrew" -- but a certain faulty piece of California real estate goes by the name of SAN [not Santa] Andreas.
Hence the use of the term "hint" -- I wasn't sure.
