Incorrect Name on I-181
I recently received I-181 form from Nebraska Service Center. It is basically a notice
of action form that says 'creation of record of lawful permanent residence'. It also
says that I'll be receiving the laminated green card in mail within three weeks.
Unfortunately in this form, they have cut up my first name in half and used the
second half as my middle initial. It was very upsetting since all the previous
correspondences from INS contained no such mistakes. Even the original I-129F
approval form from Nebraska and the AOS interview letter from Chicago INS office had
my name spelled out correctly.
What are the chances that my green card will be printed with correct names? Anybody
had similar experience?
I also would like to know if INS always initialize middle names on green cards or do
they write the full middle name?
Thanks in advance...
