Default Impact of H1 denial on future H4 renewal

Hi:

Iam on H1B and my wife is on H4. She was with me in the US for 8 months after marriage on a leave of absence from her company. Recently, my wife's company offered to sponsor her H1. When the lawyers filed for her H1, Vermont BCIS sent an RFE. We dont know what was the reason for the RFE. The lawyers have replied to the RFE and told us that they have addressed the issue raised by BCIS.

My question is if for any reason her H1 is denied, will this affect her future H4 renewal? (My H1 is due for renewal in Oct 2003 and I will renew her H4 at that time if she hasnt got her H1).

Currently, my wife is outside the US waiting for her I-129 approval to come through. In the event of her H1B denial, will she be allowed entry to the US based on her H4?

Thank You.
