I'm due to attend for my immigrant interview with my wife in a few weeks. Do I need to
get my sposors forms notorized beforehand or can we both sign in front of the
immigration official.
All help appreciated.

I had my employment letter notarized on my lawyer's advice.
It certainly didn't do any harm and my interview went very smoothly in Montreal.

We did it right there in front of the consulate staff. Authentication by a British notary
doesn't count, so you've few alternatives!

The employment letter has to be notarized. It is an absolute requirement. And you can't do
that at the consulate, since the signature of the employer is notarized (unless your
employer is right there with you
