Default If citizen of one country live in another one? Which consulate to specify in I-129 then?

Hello everybody

I have a question, if anybody knows anything regarding either of them I would
greatly appreciate any help.

What consulate should be specified in I-129 for me to come for the interview
if I presently reside in Ukraine but the citizen of Israel? Any advices?
Actually the choice is between one in Warsaw (where all Ukrainian residence are
supposed to come) and one in Israel, the country of my citizenship

P.S.

If anyone has any experience in filing petitions having Israeli citizenship and
residing in another country, please, I will be grateful for any information. You
can email me directly [email protected]

Thanks again for any information

You anormally apply at the consulate that services the area where you
reside legally. If you reside in Ukraine, then you would go to the
Consular Section at the embassy in Warsaw.

I'm by no means sure on this but I remember reading a post on this newsgroup where someone's wife/fiancee was a residing in Canada on a student visa but had to return to their country of citizenship (China) for their consular interview.
I think this *may* be different if you are an immigrant as opposed to a non-immigrant of your country of residence though.

Foreign fiance(e) is interviewed by the US embassy at the country of current residence (in your case, it is the US embassy in Ukraine). So you should mention US embassy in Ukraine in I-129F, unless you will be leaving Ukraine and moving back to Israel for good.
