i need your advice, on what do i do about receiving my green card.
To anyone that can advise me accordingly.
I recently got my i485 interview, on may 26th 2005, i was unsure of what the outcome might be, however on may 30th the case was approved. On june 6th, i received the welcome letter.
My work permit will expire on september 19th 2005 and i'm wondering, if the permit expires before the green card arrives what should i do? (i've heard the the actual green card can take up to six months to reach!) i've also heard that i Can just make an appointment at one of the uscis office and get my passort stamped? is this true? and if so, how do i go about doing this?
Thanks in anticipation of your answers.

Renewing the EAD is not possible at this point. He is a PR, and as such, has
work authorization. The EAD is no longer valid.
He needs the I-551 stamp or the actual card as proof of that.
