Hi...

Oh, god, this morning I called MSC line and I heard they sent a letter on Apr 22 another RFE, it really makes me confused.

What is the next?

The USC should be getting the RFE soon and it will explain what needs to be provided. No need to panic or be confused until you know what they want.

Once you get the necessary documents, return and wait. Hopefully you don't lose too much time with this.

Regards

Sorry to hear about your RFE I hope that you get the letter soon and that things go smoothly from there on.

No one should be given 2 RFE's, if they needed more information then it should ALL be disclosed on the first RFE they issued you.

That just plain sucks!! I hope this works out the best for you two

That's harsh. I'm sorry to hear that, and hope things get handled soon from here.

One really has to wonder just how they operate when dealing with RFE's. Some seem to proceed within a short time while others, like me, hear nothing and are left hoping and praying that today will be the day.
Not too sure how I would react to a 2nd RFE so my thoughts are with you, hoping that its something easily remedied. I guess every office deals with these things in their own way huh? Hope your wait is over soon.
Cheers

Could be the additional info submitted for RFE1 was insufficient, hence
RFE2.

Sure. And if that were the case, instead of issuing another RFE they could have perhaps denied the case.

It could also be that they simply discovered something else that they wanted.

Or perhaps new facts come to their attention. Let's say the beneficiary of an I-130 replies to RFE #1, and in her letter she mentions that she has just now taken her husband's (the petitioner's) last name (but had not yet done so when the I-130 was submitted). I suppose the SC could then issue a second RFE asking for a document showing the name change.

Getting a second RFE is not that common, but it does happen from time to time.

All the more reason to document those cases well at the outset!
