Default I-864 - Tax returns.

My US wife and I were married in Maryland last September (I'm English) and then came
here to live for 7 months. We have decided to move back to the States, and she left
on MOnday to start getting things ready (car, job etc) for when my visa is granted
!!! Going through her tax returns (which I understand she has to produce with the
I-864) her returns are as follows 1st year - $20,000 2nd year - $18,500 Last year -
$16,500 (bearing in mind she wasn't there the whole year)

My questions are:
1/. She will be sponsoring me and my 17 year old daughter, were her earnings enough
for the 125% poverty guidelines.
2/. Although there was a slight shortfall in the 2nd year, do they take an average
over the 3 years.
3/. As she has only gone back on Monday and will be looking for a job next week, is
that a problem. I've had one opinion that only her CURRENT earnings and assets are
relevant, if that is so, why the 3 years tax returns ?
4/. Do you think I'll have a problem based on these points or should we look for
a joint sponsor or work out the assets I'll be taking and somehow prove these
to the INS

Thank you very much, in advance. I hope I haven't been too confusing.
