Interview is booked for the 16th October in London. I'm applying as the Spouse of a US Citizen for an Immigrant Visa. Got a question re the Support docs. We'll be applying on the asset basis as we both live in the UK at the moment.

Most of our assets are equity (ie shares) or cash. Now I've never received any share ownership certificates as its all held electronically in Oz (CHESS). I can print a statement off my brokers website which lists the holdings and also latest value. I was thinking of taking our buy contracts from our broker and maybe the latest dividend statement (if they pay dividends).

Is that enough to satisfy the requirements ? Or do I need something more official ? Have no idea where to go to get that of course!

Take the last two month's bank statements and the printout of the share statement(s).

If they want more proof, they will not refuse your visa, just mark it as pending while you send them the proof, the nature of which they will specify for you at the interview.

They accepted a printout from my broker's online site with no problem.
