Could you be a bit more vague? :-)

Ask people why they have deer heads on their walls and they tell you
it's because they're such beautiful animals.I think my wife is
beautiful, but I only have photographs of her on the wall.

I'm not sure of your complete situation but the web site www.immigrate2us.net has information about both waivers and will be able to help you more thoroughly.

Sorry. I-130 was approved and now awaiting for AOS interview in
montreal. Apparently, this friend of mine was also removed from the US
in 2000. And now while waiting for her interview date in Montreal she
is also presenting an I-601 & I-212 together with the interview.

What are the likelyhood of her getting approved for a visa back to the
US. Has anybody had similar experience? What sort of questions will be
ask.

Thanks

It depends. What's the nature of the I-601 / I-212?

A vague question gets you a vague response. Try again.

Depends on the quality of the hardship letter and the details of the removal I suppose.
It's virtually impossible to answer 3rd party questions on a NG.

Congradulations! You can be more vague! :-)

Seriously though, don't you think we might need to know the nature of
why the 601 and 212 would be required?!? People aren't "removed" from
the US for no good reason. Ergo there's a good reason why she was
removed. Depending on that reason, as well as other factors, is key to
understanding the true problem and ascertaining what needs to be done
and what chances she might have.

Then again you could just continue to keep us in the dark...
