Hi,
I have a I-485 pending, I know I can get a work permit, but am I legally allowed to
attend college/university (in Florida)?
Thank you

An alien number is assigned well before permanent resident status is granted in many
cases. It would be wrong to state that you are a permanent resident before you
actually hold permanent resident status. It could be deemed to be fraudulent if by
doing so you receive some benefit.
