I-485 (Adjustment of Status) - Awaiting Confirmation of Receipt - Chicago
We sent in an I-485 package on July 27th to the Chicago Office. I imagine that a lot of other people did too. We have not received a confirmation of receipt letter as of yet, nor have they cashed the check. Has anyone in a similar time period gotten a receipt letter ? The USCIS web site says if you do not get a receipt letter within 30 days to call the help line. Anyone know what the best time is to call ? I would guess during the middle of the week and early in the day.
