I filed my I-130 november 2003. I just got my I-129F approved. Do I receive later on an approved I-130? if so, when? first NOA said process would take 900 something days. Someone told me in about 6-8 months I get I-130 approved. How does that work if such date coincides with my husband's K-3 approval at the consulate overseas which should be at the end of July 2004? Pls let me know.

What Service Center did you go through for the 130? You could check the processing times for that center and see where they are in regards to your 130 NOA date. Until then, just concentrate on the K3 process and getting your husband here, .

I went through TSC like you Cindy. I noticed it took about 8 months for your 2nd NOA for I-130. Also, I noticed in your timeline, how long process for EAD takes. On average I wonder how long before my husband gets his EAD assuming he files immediately after arrival to US?

Cindy's 1st NOA for I-130 is Sept 2002 not 2003, so it has taken her 20 months not 8 months. Vermont often has fast processing times like the ones you mentioned but unfortunately Texas and Nebraska are pretty slow. I filed mine at Nebraska in March 2003 and they are working on August 2002 at the moment. Based on that, I'm not expecting to be approved until at least Dec 2004 if not later. Nebraska took on some of Texas's because they were taking so long. Good luck with the K3.
