Thumbs up I 130 Parents inverview at mumbai

Hello,

I finally received the interview letter for my parents however my mother's date of birth is typed incorrectly on the letter. (i.e. actual date 05-12-1950 (mm/dd/yy), which they interpreted as 05 December 1950)

I am quite concerned as there is not much time left for their interview and I don't want any delay in interview due to their mistake.

will appreciate expert's advise. thanks

Don't worry about it. She should tell the officer that it's a mistake, and she should have proof of her actual date of birth. The officer will correct the mistake - he has a great tool for correcting mistakes... a pen.

They will both need photo ID. They should take copies of all the documentation and evidence they have so far submitted. They will also need an I-864 from you as their sponsor.
