how would you prove citizenship.
if you do not have a birth certificate, and there is no one live that was
there when you were born? I need to know I planed on using my grandmother as
a co sponsor. She is 85 years old, and never had a birth certificate. none
of her sibling are alive, she was the youngest.

Does she draw social security? If so, then she is either a resident or a
citizen, and someone has proved that at some point in time, otherwise
she would not get the money.

These cases can be fun! At least for the lawyer. ;-)
Once you establish no birth certificate available, you go to secondary evidence -- school records, census records. Did she ever get married? If so, the marriage certificate might give the age and POB of the birde.
It can be done. These case are quite fact specific.
