how long must you wait before returning to the us / other problems ?
I am in the us as I speak on b1 holiday visa ( I am uk citizen )
usually i can get what I need to get done here in terms of 90 days (
medical treatment ) but in this case not so..
I will have to leave on the 23rd then of this month and was wondering
how long I have to wait before being allowed to return again ?
The offcier at immigration when I came in for example was getting quite
testy about the fact I had come over for medical treatment on a holiday
visa but the problem is I am not sure if I would get medical visa for
my treatment because it's what I'd consider to be fringe , an
outpatient proceedure at best.
This officer was telling me I had to wait 7 months or something which I
simply can' afford to..
I mean if I went to Canda or Brazil and stayed for 3 months there and
came back here again on the same visa would it still be a problem ?
i can get letter from my doc as evidence if need be..
thanks

1) That someone other than the US taxpayer is paying for the treatment.
2) That you have sufficient resources to stay in the US for all this time without working and the means to depart.
3) You are maintaining an unrelinquished foreign residence that you have no plans to abandon.
4) That you are otherwise admissible
You should bring bank statements, rent/mortgage receipts, pay stubs, tax returns, utility bills, letter from employer and anything else you have to show them.
How can you afford to do this?
