How long does it take to get the H1 transfer receipt these days?
Dear all,
I want to get an idea how fast recently it is to get a H1 transfer done. My new
employer in California is going to file an H1-B transfer petition this week, I need
to get an estimate how long it is going to take so that I can arrange my moving
schedule properly. I understand that I just need to receive the H1-B transfer receipt
in order for me to start work legally. Based on the search from Google group, I know
that it used to take around two weeks. But since it's not a definite answer, I want
to hear from someone that has done it recently. Thanks for your time.
