Hello,
I am an American citizen. I would like to apply for my father for a green card. To my
knowledge the application form is I-485. I was wondering approximately, how long
would it take from the day we apply until my father receives the green card? Can he
travel outside of the US within this period? Which category of the family-sponsored
preferences he will fall into? Thanks for the answers.
