Applying at the US Embassy would be a good start. (its usually best not to publish your phone number, by the way)

US consulates are usually very reluctant to issue new visas to third party
nationals... Your best bet is to apply for a visa in your home country.

Re: How to get B1 Visa from Dubai
The US Consulate in Dubai issues very few visas to local Emiratees, as the population of the UAE is 80+% expatriate, getting a US visa for expatriates is not a problem. I received my L1 visa in Dubai.
My only advise is plan your visit to the consulate in the World Trade Centre well in advance, you will need to call a special phone number in Bahrain for a visa application number, write down this number as you will not be allowed into the consulate without you appointment number. Expect to have to wait at least 2-3 weeks between your phone call and your appointment, Dubai is the consulate used by many Iranians wishing to visit the USA.
Follow the instructions on the consulate website to the letter and you should be fine.
PS turn up early I got there at 7am (they open at 8am) and there were 30 plus people in front of me, at 8am there were over 100 people in the line.

I stand corrected! It appears the US consulate at Dubai - with its large
expatriate contingent - is an exception to the rule.
