How can i correct my name in US visa from US.

Hi all,
Can anyone explain me how can i correct my name in H1 visa which
issued from Chennai, India.
is it possible for me to correct my name from US ?

Can someone clarify?

No, you can't correct your name on a visa from the USA. You'll have to contact the embassy that issued the visa, and see if they can re-issue it in your correct name.

How different is it from the name on your passport? If it's only one letter or something, don't worry about it.
