Re: Hoffage’s N400 thread
Thanks Rete! 😀 They told me at the office and gave me some paperwork to take to the ceremony with all the details on.

Congratulations Hoffage.
Has this thread become the default 2017/2018 'who's applied for N400' thread? If so then we can add this Florida resident's application to the list, N400 arrived in Texas by snail mail 08/04/18...

Couldn't find an official thread, so I'll just add mine here.
Pressed the button on my online N400 last Friday (so 09/07/18). Our field office is Dallas though, who are running at 18-21 months right now so I'm guessing nothing will happen with the application 'til 2020!
Good luck to everyone else going through this, nice to have the end of our immigration journey in sight. Feels like only yesterday I was on here annoying Ian and Jeff with my K1 questions...

He said probably about a month for the oath ceremony. Then I'm done, done, done!

Congrats! Did he ask you any other questions? Or is this interview more of a formality?

Re: Hoffage’s N400 thread
I am really glad I'd learned the civics questions so well even if it was complete overkill as it meant I had no nerves at all. Plus it was actually quite interesting to learn some of the US history and political procedures which I guess is the whole point of making me learn the stuff in the first place.
And wouldn't you know it, he asked me the "Why did the colonists fight the British?" question
