You know the kind… they’d come to us for 2 weeks and sometime later, we’d go there for 2 weeks. Anyway, we fell madly in love and we want to get married. The problem is, I live in Canada and she lives in the US. Oh… I’m 19 and she’s 18. Neither of us have ever had a full-time job and we both live with our parents. I have some questions:
1) How much money will we need to get married?
2) Can I take a trip to the US and get married? I’m not really expecting to get married but y’know… just in case I end up marrying while I’m there.
3) Will I be able to return to Canada after to pack up my bedroom and say goodbye to my folks?
4) Does it matter that I don’t have a job?
5) How long is all of this going to take?
6) My mom is threatening to kick me out of the house if I marry my girlfriend. Can she do anything to stop me? I need to know immediately, because I really love my girl.
7) My girlfriend has never filed tax returns, will this cause us any problems?
8) I was arrested for B&E when I was 14. I did a year in juvenile hall, but since I was a minor the records were sealed. Do I need to tell anyone about this? Will it cause us any problems?
9) Am I going to need a passport? I don’t think I can afford one.
10) Is this something we can do ourselves, or do we need a lawyer?
11) Does anyone have any experience with this immigration stuff? There’s just so much paperwork, we’re totally overwhelmed!
12) We’re planning a trip to Cuba later this year. I’ve been told that if she comes to Canada first and then we get a direct flight to Havana, that it’ll be okay. Is this true?
13) Is there anything else I should know?
14) If my girl got pregnant, would it help speed up the process? I’m eager to try!
Thanks in advance for your help! We're really madly in love and want to be together as soon as possible.

[QUOTE=CaliforniaBride]Would it be possible to ship my dog, cat and canary?
My dad says I wasn't born, I was laid on the fence post and hatched by the sun.
Hey I was really going to ask that question..
What is a long form birth cert? I have a ink print of the sole of my foot issued by the hospital that I was born at, will this do?

You are thinking of InfoTech from Florida who migrated to the UK and wanted all his fees paid for in the UK at the US Consulate as well.
Wonder if the little sponger is a daddy yet and where the three of them are now living.

You forgot that after the original posting then you have to go back in around five minutes later and type:
Anyone know the answer?
Then you repost the entire question on a new thread two or three times until Dave comes by and sticks it to ya.

Perhaps if you re-phrase the title of your post to include all capital letters and lots of exclamation marks then that will make it sound more urgent, so then maybe someone will take pitty on you and drop everything they are doing to hold your hand and walk you step by step thru everything that you need to do and if they steer you wrong, then you can sue them.
Have a nice day!

You also forgot to:
I put a curse on you and on your family and all your unborn children and children's children for generations to come.
Remember that little war from Nigeria?

The will has to come from you; it is not contained in the patch. Again, keep up the effort as it's worth it (and think of the money you will save).

Actually there was such a person, Ian. They were JoeBlow about 3 years ago.
She is a Canuck who met a man online on the West Coast, came across the border, lived with him for a bit but liked his brother better so shacked up with him. She went back to Canada to get her things, was stopped at the border and denied entry. Tried again a few days later by bus and told them she was only going to the US to shop. Got married to brother and was filing for adjustment.
