Hi, I 'm in the process of sponsoring my fiancee to US, when we get marry here, do
I/does she need the certification paper of being single? Thanks,

No; you do not need such a paper for either of you. We just take your word ( signed
statement) for it. see http://world-wideweddings.com/Requirements/ for what is
required in the state you plan to marry in.
