help! EAD appointment question
Hi-
My wife applied for her EAD (INS Form I-765) and she received her Employment
Authorization appointment letter. . . to get her EAD. The appointment is for this
Monday am (July 15th). As Murphy's Law would have it, she also has another important
appointment for the same time that she should keep. My question: What actually
happens at the "Employment Authorization Appointment"? Is there some sort of
interview, or does she simply pick up her EAD when she arrives? I'm wondering, if
it's the latter, can I go to the INS office (here in Seattle) for her, with proper
proof, and pick it up for her?
Thanks in advance!
Steve

Then she should have signed the letter and returned it requesting that it be
rescheduled. I think it would be in her best interest to reschedule the other
appointment and go for the EAD on monday, though.

They usually have to take her picture and she has to sign a couple things,
including the card.

No. She has to do it herself.
