Default help and advice moving to usa on profession visa

Hi, im looking for any information on how to move to the usa from the uk. I went to America for a 3 week road trip and drove over 5000miles around the country and fell in love with the country, so much that I cried on the plane back (lol). Im looking to move anywhere within the middle of the country. I have just gained a degree as an accountant and my boyfriend is gaining a qualification in java. We want to move together so a marriage visa is out of the question.
Searching through websites and they all have different information and different job criteria for visa and alot charge for information and help getting a visa. We are hoping for permenant residency which is the H1B visa but would also like information on H2B visa for temporary work aswell.
Any information on best way to go about this would be brilliant, just need to get all the facts. Really want to move but I am very aware that being British makes it near impossible. Please help.

I think what you meant to say was that because you want to move together, you're happy to get married so that either of you, if eligible for an employment-based visa, can apply and both will benefit.

We are hoping for permenant residency which is the H1B visa...
There are many visas that lead to permanent residence status... but PR status is certainly not a guarantee just because you have an H-1B visa. If, for example, your H-1B sponsor doesn't want to help you get a green card, then that's the end of the road... because you must have their help.

I am very aware that being British makes it near impossible.
I'm not sure where you're getting your information, but being British doesn't make it "near impossible". Indeed, it gives you as good a chance as most... and a better chance than some.

Start here. These are all the ways to get to the US. If you can't find an appropriate visa (or you don't qualify for or aren't eligible for a specific visa), then you won't be coming to the US as anything other than a visitor.

Really want to move...
Respectfully, your "wants" don't enter into the equation.

Which websites are you searching through that give you conflicting information about visas? I'd suggest the only one you should be looking at is www.uscis.gov

Do not pay anyone to help you get a visa, none of these sites can help you.

Accountancy isn't a skill that is in short supply out here (neither is java), so the only way of you getting a work visa is to get a job with a US presence and work towards getting a transfer on an L visa.

If you see it as a long term plan it is possible, but it's not going to happen over night.

Neither of those are going to help much in this endeavour unfortunately, especially without a lot of experience or niche skills.

That's not to say it won't happen, but think long term plan...plenty of threads on how best to work into a situation that'll work best.

Its the visa provided when your company transfers you to the States. Usually requires specialized skills/management/executive position.

Well at least you are being realistic! The 'special relationship' doesn't apply to visas.

As I always say, patience and tenacity are the key. It's a long term goal and you should be prepared to spend a few years in the UK working towards the specialist credentials that would qualify you for a move. Good luck!

It took me many years of hard work in the UK before I achieved my goal but it was worth it in the end.

It's impossible to say what a high-demand job might be in the future, though. You could spend years getting a degree and experience in one field, but then suddenly that field is not in high demand anymore.

Just study what you're interested in, and go from there.

One thing to keep in mind, CIMA and ACCA aren't recognized at all out here, everyone wants a bachelors degree as a minimum and then for a higher ranked job you need to be a CPA or have an MBA. You could carry on studying and complete your MBA in the UK, which would transfer well if you did manage to get over here.
