Default Help ? about NVC process

Can anyone help me? My I-130 from CVC was approved in September.
Since then NVC has mailed Affidavit of Support Bill for $65, DS-3032,
and Affidavit of Support forms to me, which we have sent beck to them.
Yesterday I just received another Bill from them. It is for my
husband’s visa for the amount of $335. They said that as soon
as they receive this payments they will start processing our case
further and send me the DS-230 Part I forms. Now what are these
forms? They so Part I so does that mean there is also part II to
this. How long will it take from this point for my husband to get an
interview date? Please help. Thank you in advance.

Obviously they changed the procedure so that we are now wasting more time in the mail thing. I got AOS bill and DS-3032 and sent them back right away, now waiting for the actual I-864 and a bill for DS230, hopefully soon.

The way I understand it, DS-230 part I will be your last form from NVC before they send you an interview notice. You will see part II when your husband goes to interview in the consulate. Hang in there, you are almost done!

Thank you for your responses and I am trying to hang in there but it
gets harder by the week as I am sure all of you can relate. I just
hope he is here before our first wedding anniversary on February 17th.

Hi Hetal,
Do not want to pin your hopes down but understand that Mumbai consulate schedules interview 2 months after submission of letter of completion of documentattion.
I am again going to check with with the embassy and will keep you posted.
