Dear Group, I left my USC husband for abuse and filed a self-petition for battered
spouse. In the mean time my husband and I talked alot and got marriage counceling and
we are back together to give it another try. We should have our marriage interview in
a couple of month. Will the self-petition have an impact on the marriage based
application? I don't want to withdraw the self-petition (is still pending), because
of course I can't be sure if my husband really changed. Please advice. Thank you
