H4 visa and LLC business: how?
My wife has H4 visa and wants to try to form an LLC with an american partent
(we are Canadians). Question is: how to do that? Her american partner is
also asking if there are any tax advantages or disadvantages for her to go
into LLC with my wife?
Any info and help on that would be greatly appreciated!

Wouldn't answer any questions on tax issues. As far as immigration goes,
make sure your wife doesn't receive any compensation/remuniration from her
LLC activities. (Consider if she really needs/wants to go into it without
compensation...). Call me if you have questions (my phone is on the web

It depends on her role in the LLC. If her role is strictly as investor,
then she should be fine. But she cannot work for that LLC in any form.
I can't comment much on the tax aspect beyond saying that for tax
purposes, your wife is probably treated just like a US citizen.
