Hello, hope someone can can sure / provide me some thoughts...

Question 1
my current H1B visa is expiring in October 03, at the meantime, I just
got a new job and my new employer is applying for my new H1B, how long
does that usually takes before I shold leave my current job?

Question 2
let said for some reasons i was not able to take the new job but have
to stay with my old job, yet at the same time, my new employer is
applying for my new H1B, can i still renew my current H1B with my old
employer for another three years (this is my third year here)?
