Default H1B: Starting date and some other questions

Hi,

I have found a job and we will submit H1B visa for 2007 quota.

I would like to prefer to get my visa with premium processing.

and my questions:

- As I know I will get acceptance in latest May. But can I get my H1B
visa into my passport at May or June? Because I will start to work at
October 1st. Are there any possibility that US consulate give my visa
later not in May or June?

- If I get my visa at June, can I go to USA with my visa before October
1st?

- If I can go before October, can I stay in USA until October?

- If I can stay in USA before October, can I go to a language course?

- If I can stay in USA before October, can I get a social security
number and other services such as bank account or apartment renting
etc.?

TIA!

Check with the Consulate.

In principle, you can enter up to 10 days before the start of your H-1B
work authorization.

Once you've entered in H-1B status you can stay (as long as you start
work when you should).

Yes.

You should be able to.

Usually you can receive your H1B visa no earlier than 90 days before the start date.

You are not allowed to enter U.S. on H1B earlier than 10 days before your start date (unless you have another valid visa stamped).
