H1B option
The other option i have is to open a restaurant with my partner there.
What would be the requirements for a small cafe?
How much money would we need?
Am i allowed to invest jointly with a U.S citizen?
What are the requirements if it is a joint investment?
Would i qualify as E2 or if our investment was small could my partner have the plan and hire me on an H1B to come and manage the cafe/restaurant for her?? IF we concluded that the position required someone with hospitality management qualifications??
And would i then be able to run my friend's production company too?? If i was admitted as an E2 investor am i allowed to work on projects for another E2 investor (with the same nationality?)

You are only admitted to perform the duties for which you were permitted
entry. If you were admitted to run a cafe then you can't run a
production company.
Work visas are NOT the same as permanent residence. You're in the US to
do one thing and one thing only unless you get specific permission to do
the second from the INS ... and to do that it must be in the same visa
category.
From all that you write girl, what you need to do is get your work
sufficiently recognized that a big studio takes you on and hires the
lawyers to make it all legal ... but it's not a forever thing. Look at
Cathy Rogers (ScrapHeap Challenge) teamed up her company with Discovery
Network to produce JunkYard Wars (some done in the US). Discovery
network sponsored her way into the US, but that gives her no real
opportunity on the basis of that work to stay in the US which is what
you're trying to do.
Frankly, the best way to achieve your goals is to find an American guy,
fall in love, marry and live happily ever after so he can sponsor you as
a spouse. That stands a lot more chance than the shoestring budget
ideas you're trying to use.
