I'm working in US onH1B status (I-94). My wife has a H4 status. The single entry
visas into US has been used and expired. We have a Canada PR landing papers expiring
in Oct 27 and we want go Canada once to register as a PR before this date.

We should not have problem entering Canada since I'll use the Canada PR landing paper
as the visa.

What I'm not clear is, is there any problem reentering US with the
H1B/H4 status? This question is actually two parts:

1. Does Canada allow me to board on a flight to US with the H1B status and Canada
PR status?

2. Does US allow me to reenter with the H1B status at the airport immigation
cheking point?

Thank you in advance for any information.

You need a multiple-entry stamp on your visa to go out and enter back into USA. Most
people go to a city in Mexico or Canada where a US consulate is, and obtain
Multiple-Entry Stamp for H1 & H4.

I ain't an attorney. Don't follow my words and wait for more expert responses.
