H1B extension
My H1B started in 2000 and theorily I should have my current employer renew it by
2003. But when I check the date in the my current H1B stub I found it is valid from
2001 to 2004(I started my current job in 2001 and current employer applied for H1B
transfer for me then). My question is if I dont' change employer for the next years
should I ask for H1B extension now? Thanks.

Jiyang,
If your Notice of Action (I-797) states that your H-1B is valid till 2004, you need
to get an extension only at that time.
From what you are saying, you need to extend your visa next year. You could do so by
visa revalidation without having to travel to your home country or another consulate.
