I applied for a H1-B visa not so long ago and have been asked to provide additional information regarding my case, the info they need is

*please break down by percentage of time on a daily basis the proposed duties of the beneficiary*

I am awaiting approval for this visa for a cmputer support specialist, has anyone else had requests for information, and does it mean there is a problem with the case? I'm just a little worried that it wasn't approved the 1st time round

Hopefully the fact they are asking for this info is a good thing, at least it hasn't been denied

Just any feedback or info anyone could give would help, kinda biting my nails down to my bones here

This request for information could be a problem if it is not handled
correctly. I hope you have a competent immigration attorney working on the
case. If you don't, you should hire one, right now.

This type of request often is a sign of difficulty with classifying the job
position into a classification established by the government. There may be
an unusual combination of duties. A good attorney knows how to target a
particular classification by using key words in the duties, and being
careful to avoid other words which signal a different classification.

I do have an attorney, reason i asked this as he is on vactaion this week thats all, so i guess it's best to wait for him before we submit anything?. I do have one more question was wondering if you help with

I am travelling back the uk at he beggining of july as my VWP expires, If while i'm home my h1-b is approved, is there anything stopping me travelling back to the us, say in the middle of july on the VWP (I know i will not be able to collect my visa from the consulate until at lease august due to the current delay on paperwork) to look around for an appartment and car etc. Hopefully the fact that i would need to go back to london to collect my h1-b thats already approved would be enough evidence for the Immigration officer to show that i do not intend to stay past the 90 days, could you shed anylight on this question, as i don't want to have to leave everything until last minute, nor do i want be turned away at the POE

You should discuss this with your attorney. It seems to me that you have a
chance of success of entering the U.S. under visa waiver, but you don't have
a guarantee. You are still taking a risk.
