My employer (and H1-B sponsor) has been purchased by a foreign company.
Assuming they do not dissolve us completely, what are the ramifications = of
my H1-B? =20
Is it transferrable to a foreign company? Of course, the company that = bought us is
Canadian (so am I) so I'm not sure if that has any further = impact.
Any suggestions for more information on this subject would be = appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul
PS. It's not a huge deal since I'm married to a USC and have all that = immigration
stuff "in the system". I just may end up getting a few = months off from work
(hopefully during the summer).

Re: H1-B Employer Bought by Foreign Company
Please don't post HTML, it's near impossible to read!
It doesn't matter who owns the company; there is no requirement that it be a US
citizen - as long as they employ you in the original job, your H-1B is safe.
