1. My H-1 transfer was filed on Sept.5 with the pay stubs for April and May for my
J-1 status. My old H-1 was pending from May to August and was approved on August.
So I did not have recent pay stubs when the new H1 transfer was filed. Will it be
a problem? Is it possible the INS does not approve status change and I need go
aboard to get visa stamp?

2. My wife's H-4 was filed only with the old H-4 receipt, without the approval
notice, will it be a problem?
