Green card dependent question
My Wife has just been approved for her Green Card, she applied as a
Distinguished Professor. I also applied as a dependent (I am a It
propfessional and Student on an F1 Visa). I have not heard anything
about my status - though I have been biometricalized at the same time
as my wife.
Is it normal for dependents on an application to be treated wholly
separately and does this mean that I may have a long wait to hear about
my case.
Cheers

Hi:
It may very well be that her case cleared and everything was ready for approval while your case had pending background checks. It happens.
An inquiry is in order.
