Hi there everyone,
I had my interview for AOS on the 10th September of this year and I already have my
green card - it arrived this morning and was a very nice surprise
>
For those of you who have never seen one (Yet the front is a very nice gold color,
and the back has your photograph and a hologram-style seal.
I am very happy now, and get to tell my wife when she coms home this afternoon
2 months for a GC in Orlando, Florida - not bad at all
Chris

In Hopes of Averting A Misunderstanding
So no one misunderstands Mr. Payne's post, it was not two months for a green card. He waited a lot longer for the AOS interview. He meant to say it took two months for the green card to arrive after the AOS interview.

Hey there
Yes you are right, I was in a hurry when I typed the message so it may have came
across odd - thanks for clearing it up for others

I tell ya, Chris. You've had a lot of luck with Orlando INS! You certainly seem the
exception rather than the rule. Yours must have been a training case, with the
timelines you've had. Lucky old goat!
As for the rest of us in Orlando, we wait & wait. We had to get Congressman Mica's
liason involved AGAIN regarding the AP this time. We filed the AP at the same time
you had your interview, incidentally. Only after Jean Carrero got involved did Erik
get his AP for our trip at Christmastime. And it was issued just today.
Congratulations, Lisa
