Hi all,

I applied for Advanced Parole when I filed for my AOS. Right now my
status is just waiting to hear from Houston INS regarding the
interview.

I need to leave the country for family reasons, and need to know how
to use the Adv. Parole document. Is there anything I need to do when I
leave from the US? turn in any forms? And when i enter, what do I
need? just my Advanced parole document and my passport? anything else?

Please help set my mind at ease. Thanks!

You will be asked by the airlines to see the A/P. It is on the return trip that you will go to secondary inspection where you will hand in your A/P and your passport. They will put the information in the computer, place and/or stamp several new I-94's on the A/P and the possibly one in your passport, retain a sheet to be returned to INS and off you go.
