What kind of tights (Hose, panty hose, nylons call them what you will) do you prefer?

I have bought 2 different brands, legg's and JMS and well Nora Batty eat your heart out are these things made for giants? I am 5'7 so hardly short for a woman seems I am constantly pulling them up!

Legg's. I'm 5'5". However I'm long legged. I don't have a problem with that brand.

They are hard to find here (at least where I live) so I end up buying them in the UK, where I'm way more familiar with the shops...

Thats what i have done in the past too... my last three pair are sitting in my draw with clear nail polish stopping the runs in them

My daughter is 5'8" with very long legs...she's more or less given up on wearing tights. So in winter she tends to wear trousers....extra long length of course. Me...at 5'3 and a half inches...that 1/2 inch means a lot when you're that height....I have no problem with tights now sleeves are another problem.

I can honestly say i have never worn tights. My mum used to wear those American tan coloured things and wash her smelly feet in the sink with them still on. Wonder why i never wore them

L'eggs Silk Elegance.... I've been every size of the alphabet but I've always loved L'eggs. The thought of wearing "nude" to church always gave me a giggle. These days I'm mostly bare-legged hippie and lazy, but if I'm going to a wedding or a funeral, I still wear hose/tights.

i too have long legs and buy m/s (plenty in my UK supply cupboard here lol).... i once tried a US brand but didn't like. as you say they were made for giants! tbh i don't wear them much anymore, certainly not in this climate ...
