getting a ssn card
do you have to have the EAD to get the ssn card? we didnt file for the EAD with the AoS because she isnt going to be working now . can we still get the ssn card with the I94. or are we stuck for another 120 dollars for the EAD. the immigration officer wasnt sure if we could get the ssn or not.

Hi All,
If you are talking about any type of K visa and it's over 76 days after
entry, you need either the EAD card or wait until AOS is complete and you
have either the I-551 stamp or card.

Hi All,
If you are talking about any type of K visa and it's over 76 days after
entry, you need either the EAD card or wait until AOS is complete and you
have either the I-551 stamp or card.
