Getting F1 US Visa
Hi,
I would apreciate if somebody with experience
could answer the question.
Suppose a person, having US Tourist visa (B1) in the
passport, applies for Student visa (F1).
The question is: will they cancel the B1 visa
in case of refusal of F1.
Thanks in advance.

If your outside the US and the F-1 is declined then the B-1 isn't automatically canceled. It would only be canceled if they found you inadmissible for criminal grounds, fraud, or something else that makes you ineligible for a visa.

Hello,
and what you think about my situation:
I was in USA on B1/B2 visa, after extention
for 6 months I change my status to F1.
But just after I receive that, I went to Poland.
Is my B1/B2 visa still valid (10 years visa in passport) ?

If you try to come back to "visit" too quickly then you could be in trouble for failing to prove that you still live in Poland and plan to return. This could be a problem if you have a valid visa or not because a visa just gives you permission to knock on the door. Just because it's good for 10 years doesn't mean you can spend 10 years here.
