I am a German citizen living in the US. As far as I know it is possible to naturalize
AND keep the German citizenship if one is able to get a Beibehaltungsgenehmigung from
the German government. Has anyone made actual experience applying for a
Beibehaltungsgenehmigung?
I would very much appreciate any comments on this process
Thank you TS

Anyone who can spell "Beibehaltungsgenehmigung" without looking at the word, and say
it 3 times in rapid succession, pronouncing it properly, deserves to get a German
citizenship.
