I am a German citizen living in the US. As far as I know it is possible to naturalize
AND keep the German citizenship if one is able to get a Beibehaltungsgenehmigung from
the German government. Has anyone made actual experience applying for a
Beibehaltungsgenehmigung?

I would very much appreciate any comments on this process

Thank you TS

I know than an Iranian citizen became German citizen, German government told her
officially renounce her Iranian citizen and German government reported the matter to
the Iranian government.

Anyone who can spell "Beibehaltungsgenehmigung" without looking at the word, and say
it 3 times in rapid succession, pronouncing it properly, deserves to get a German
citizenship.
