GC received today
Hello everyone:
Just to let everyone know that I received my GC today. I did use many great advices from this forum during the entire process. Thank you very much!
Here's my timeline:
Jul 29, 05 - Submitted I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765
Aug 02, 05 - I-797C NOAs were received
Oct 06, 05 - I-131 approved (received few days later)
Oct 18, 05 - Biometrics appt for I-765
Oct 21, 05 - I-765 approved (received few days later)
Nov 07, 05 - Submitted AR-11 Change of Address (Moved from Colorado Springs to San Diego)
Nov 29, 05 - I-797C NOA received for AOS interview scheduled on Jan 03, 06. Of notes, initial AOS interview in Colorado Springs was cancelled after submission of AR-11
Jan 03, 06 - AOS interview in San Diego. Interview lasted 15 min. Immigration Officer asked to see copy of my American spouse original & translated birth certificate. Translation was done by me. In addition, she also took a copy of our joint bank account monthly statement. Finally, she scheduled my I-485 biometrics appt
Jan 19, 06 - Biometrics appt for I-485
Feb 16, 06 - I-485 approved. Welcome Ltr received
Feb 28, 06 - GC received
The entire process took seven months.
