forgot to hand in I-94 plus other complications
hi,
I forgot to hand it in when i flew from atlanta to london at the end of a j1 visa. I got back a short time ago, and in a weeks time i have to go back to the usa on training with the company i just joined. I know that you send the I-94 off to that place in kentucky, along with proof, and everything is ok... but that won't get processed before i arrive in the usa... and Im worried that ill get turned away, even if i have proof with me that i left on time before. I would hope it's not a problem but no one anywhere seems to be able to tell me for sure that it will be ok, or that it won't be - no one knows! So does anyone here know?
thanks
Gordon :-(

If you are still in possession of the I-94 or I-94W it is your responsibility to ensure that it is surrendered to the appropriate authorities so that your record is corrected and that you do not experience any problems on future travel to the United States as a result.
You are required to complete the back of the card listing the port of departure and date of departure from the United States and the carrier/flight information. The I-94 or I-94W together with a letter of explanation and evidence of your departure from the U.S. should be sent to
ACS - USCIS, SBU,
P.O Box 7125,
London, KY 40742-7125,
USA
