hello,
in a few weeks i'll move to the us on a k1 visa.
for various reasons, my current (dutch) employer has offered me to continue my
current employment contract for a little while beyond when i move.
would this be considered unauthorized employment if i do not have an ead?
thanks,

It depends on what you do. Are you suggesting that you will be an unemployed hobbyist
in the USA while waiting to get married, file AoS and get your EAD etc.. And there is
some private consideration between you and some phoren person/outfit somewhat related
to your hobby?
Whatever you do, you will have to declare such income as your income for 2001 when
it comes to paying taxes in the USA for which you will file your forms during
Jan-Apl 2002.

You are considered to be employed according to where your center of life interest is.
So yes, even if you are working for a non-US company, if you are living in the US you
are considered to be working in the US.
