Fingerprints
Hi
Can anyone please help me out with some info. I just applied for my
adjustment of status an was amazed at how fast the process was. I sent
it in Feb 13 got letter of conformation Feb 20th an then a letter for
Interview for i-485 for May 3...yes this past wednesday. Then I also
had recieved a letter to do my fingerprints on April 26 yes they were a
week apart from each other. When we went to the interview they stated
they cant approve my application until they get my background check
back. I live in Colorado. Does anyone know how long it takes to get
the background check back as I really really badly wanna go home to
Australia. Any help would be apprecaited.

I live in Colorado too!
Background checks can take weeks, months, years.. unfortunately there isn't a definite answer.
My interview was February 27th, I am still waiting on my background check, where in Colorado are you at??

Hyper is right, there's no way of knowing how long the security checks will take. In the meantime, though, you can still travel on an unexpired AP, if you have one.

I am also waiting on my back ground check to be clear. My interview was last summer and I am in NY.

Hyper and Strong.I don't know that you aware of that you can contact
your local congressman an they can help you for free.
